Abimbola Rosemary Odukoya (nee Segun-Williams) was born in Lagos state, Nigeria on September 12th, 1960 to Mr. and Mrs. Oladipupo Segun-Williams from Ogun state. She was a pastor and a televangelist.
UPBRINING
Bimbo had her primary education at St Mary’s private school and secondary education at Holy Child College, Lagos. She did her ‘A’ levels at Federal Government College Ijanikin before proceeding to the University of Ibadan where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Archaeology; there she gave her life to Christ in 1978.
CAREER HISTORY
After graduation, Bimbo worked in Lagos as a curator in the cultural arts department of the National Arts Theatre during her National Youth Service scheme where she was retained as a permanent staff in the centre for black Arts and culture (CBAAC). She worked there for seven years and later resigned to serve the Lord on a full time basis which made her a global voice within a short span of time.
RELATIONSHIP
Pastor Bimbo, after she graduated from the University of Ibadan, met her husband and best friend, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya in 1979 courted with him for five years and got married, as a virgin in 1984 and the marriage was blessed with three lovely children Tolu Odukoya, (Pastor) Jimmy Odukoya and Tobi Odukoya.
MINISTRY
From the year 1987 to 1999, Bimbo served as the head of the counseling department at The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) under the direction of Bishop Mike Okonkwo.
Being married to Pastor Odukoya was divinely ordained as she became a co-founder/ Pastor of Fountain of Life Church Ilupeju, Lagos. Together, they led many souls to the fullness of Christ and also grew into the fullness of her calling.
Bims was a prolific writer, author and columnist who had regular columns in various international/national newspapers and magazines such as City People, Leadership and Lifestyle Magazine (U.K) amongst many others. She was also a national and international conference speaker and the author many life-transforming books such as:

Odukoya was an international relationship coach who added succor to many unfruitful relationships and also counseled the downtrodden, separated, divorced, widows on the will of God for a better life in Christ. Through her life-transforming program called SINGLE AND MARRIED with Pastor Bimbo, many families were restored to the glory of God. She was also the Chairperson of Discovery for Women
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
Pastor Bimbo was outstanding in every aspect of life. A role model to almost every Christian home in Nigeria, one of the most sorts after voices in churches, television, radio, seminars and conferences. She added smiles to many and as such received over fifty (50) awards from national and international organizations.
DEMISE
Odukoya boarded Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145, bound for Port Harcourt from Abuja on December 10th, 2005. The airliner crashed during landing at Port Harcourt International Airport; she survived the initial impact and later died from injuries on the December 11th, 2005. Her demise shook the world because a bundle of inspiration was gone but to Christians, she has gone to be with Lord and her legacies still speaks on. Her books, tapes, and video CDs still remain the best seller in Nigeria till date.
